Today and Monday I'll share some words with you about praying in a crisis.  And in thinking about that, have you ever heard someone say, "Everything happens for a reason"?  If you have, and everything happens for a reason, then praying amounts to trying to figure out what the reason is for the crisis.

But that's not what prayer about.  And everything does not (does not) happen for a reason.
